Amazing immersive sports
The challenge
Mobile users want new entertainment experiences, and many of them demand VR and 360° video services where they are the protagonists. They want to be at the heart of the action. We decided to create a mobile service that stands out for its format and content innovation. We wanted to stay ahead of entertainment trends, aware of the struggle of developing a mobile VR and immersive video service. The low content production due to its high cost, and the weak penetration of high-end devices such as helmets or glasses, became a considerable challenge.
The service
Our VR service was recognized in 2019 as the Best Digital Entertainment Innovation Award by the international organization AfricaCom. It offers a catalogue of high-quality 360° videos and games where the user controls the viewing direction. The VR industry is new, there is litfle production, and the experience is often difficult to reproduce. We have achieved a mix between quality production (there are around 650 contents and some have won an EMMY) and technology (users can enjoy the service from any smartphone).
