Telecoming and OKAST join forces to boost the streaming video market
We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with OKAST to drive the online video market forward. Founded in 2013 by industry veterans (formerly Canal +, France Television, NewsCorp, Ubisoft, Irdeto, Viaccess), M.E.I. Group builds the OKAST cloud solution for major industry players (TV channels, production companies, pure web players, etc.).
Since its launch four years ago, the OKAST solution has experienced rapid growth, driven in part by the explosion in online video consumption and on-demand live streaming. This growth has solidified OKAST’s status as Europe’s leading SaaS solution for creating white-label platforms via a flexible and robust tool, enabling the deployment of FAST channels and OTT platforms on the web, mobile, or TV applications with a particularly fast turnaround time.
Through this alliance, Telecoming will integrate its monetization technology with the OKAST solution to help its video platform customers reach more mobile users by facilitating payment through phone and network operators (Direct Carrier Billing technology) and thus significantly increase revenues.
